Aura B
Yogi. Mommy of two. Wifey of one. Engineer.
Yoga has complimented every aspect of Aura’s life, whether it be through increased focus in her profession or by practicing forgiveness and love as a mother. Leslie
Pump and Sculpt, Vinyasa, Inferno Hot Pilates, Hot Sculpt Pilates
Meet Leslie — our headstand-loving powerhouse!
Always a fitness enthusiast at heart (and a self-proclaimed gym rat!), Leslie began her teaching journey leading aerobics classes and spent years personal training before discovering yoga with us at our studio! For the past 18 years, she’s been deepening her practice and training in a variety of styles, specializing in traditional Ashtanga and Vinyasa flow.
Never one to stop learning, Leslie also completed Inferno Hot Pilates and Stott Reformer Pilates trainings — bringing a blend of strength, sweat, and soul to every class she leads.
When she’s not teaching or upside down in a headstand (six-pack and all), you’ll find her spending time with her boys, working out with her husband, or blasting her favourite music.
Expect her classes to challenge your body, lift your spirit, and leave you smiling from the inside out.
Angelique
Bare Yoga, Barre and Inferno Inferno Hot Pilates Instructor
Following her battle with cancer in 2005, Angelique became very passionate about fitness and health and believes in living a positive and active lifestyle, bringing internal happiness, contributing to overall wellness. As a Barre, Inferno Hot Pilates and Yoga Instructor, she gets to encourage and share this mindset.
Angelique has been a part of the Yoga community for 13 years. She began her journey as a student, facing multiple knee injuries as a result of long-distance running. She turned to hot yoga and barre to lengthen and strengthen muscles to properly support the knee. This love for movement lead her on the path to deepen her yoga, barre and pilates practices and share her love for movement with the community.
“Each modality I teach encompasses all the elements of a practice I love; the focus on strength and stability. Each class I share with this community are empowering, challenging in their own way, yet suitable for all ages and fitness levels, improving posture while increasing stamina alongside some great playlists to move to.”
When not teaching or practicing Yoga, Barre or Pilates at the studio, you can find her engaged in all forms of movement; from running to hula dancing and paddle boarding. She loves to travel! Her annual travel plans typically include a few weeks on the island of O’ahu, Hawaii.
